Time To Say Goodbye

It’s time folks. You may have guessed. It’s time to say goodbye.

It’s been nearly 10 years since I started this blog. Started with the intention of giving others encouragement to make that Change. To step outside their comfort zone.

I hope I have made some people think.

I know we have changed so much. we have learned so much from the Tao, to understanding that ultimately we are all just energy.

If you asked me to pick the ultimate thing….it would be that ‘Life’ (or whatever you want to call it) will send you clues, signs, sign fucking posts, as to where you need to go. And that has been my biggest learning.

As I learned I tried to share what I had learned. But over the past 2 years I have realised that you cannot tell people. They have to work it out for themselves…..

So over to you folks. Thanks for all your support. I may come back who knows. But for now I wish you well.

I am off to where Life leads me. I hope you find your way.

  1. Hello and goodbye, Moisy.  I (and many others) have very much enjoyed your mad adventures, seeing your strong soul, work ethic, and love for your family, friends and animals all expressed so well in your writing.  We can all understand how something that was once a pleasure can become a chore, something we feel guilty about not doing anymore so that it hangs like a millstone around our necks, whether it is writing a blog, playing an instrument, knitting, volunteering, even cooking or baking for others. Best to cut off the activity at that point, and only come back around, if ever, in a different form or circumstances when we can feel the pleasure in it again.  Life is complex enough without worrying about meeting anyone and everyone else’s expectations. We have been fortunate to learn from you and to share a bit of your philosophy. At the risk of being trite, I feel compelled to offer this too: “May the road rise up to meet you.  May the wind be always at your back.   May the sun shine warm upon your face;  The rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again,  May God hold you in the palm of His hand.” Best wishes to you in your life’s journey. Thank you. Ellen

  2. Moisy, so much solidarity! I’m writing my own post right now about ending my blog, and one of the things I’m doing is featuring the wonderful bloggers who have inspired me. I’m going to go ahead and mention you anyway and link to this very post. Good luck to you and Rich on your future journeys! Please drop a line to both of us now and then; we’ll do the same! – Marty

    • Solidarity indeed my friend. And there is something….the friendship that we made through blogging. Thank you for including my blog Marty.
I hope people will still read it. Who knows I may come back to it one day.
I understand why you are choosing to stop. I think the world has changed immensely over the last 10 years. I also found I was no longer writing my journal, and self discovery is important to me. Thanks for all your support over the years Marty. We will, of course, stay in touch. Love to you both.
