So I am back! Less than a year since saying I was hanging up my blogging quill.

I thought I just didn’t have time anymore, didn’t have the impetus anymore, thought it was a chore. But since giving up, the thoughts have bubbled up like an active geezer in Yellowstone and the urge has overtaken me.

But it will be slightly different…I am 62 now……changed so much. I won’t be worrying about what others think. I will be musing on what you see as you get older.

I understand now.

So I am sitting on a bench by our newly acquired summer house. We are having a heatwave, and it is currently 104 degrees. In Ireland! We are off until next Tuesday, well RD is off until the week after next, it’s his birthday on Tuesday, and he now works part time. But more of that in future blogs.

I am sitting here, listening to the leaves in the trees, watching the ornamental grasses swaying in the breeze. Simple is always the way, I have learned.
